I have an MRT catted H. I guess they use magnaflow's high-flow cats. I got it put on over 3,000 miles ago and it never trigger the cel. As far as the sound, I got it put on with two chamber flows, so I don't know what the sound will be like with stock mufflers. I can say that you WILL feel a gain after swapping out the stock H, even with a high flow catted one.

Yeah, I would definitely go with the MRT pipe, if you're looking for a catted H-pipe, or possibly Magnaflow for catted X-pipe.

I dont know the link to MRT's webpage but I know Ninosport sells them.

http://www.ninosport.com/store/Mustang/item_MRT.htm

$339 seems a bit expensive for an o/r pipe when you can get a UPR o/r pipe for $155 shipped

Mike sells them right here on Partshopper. You won't be sorry if you go with the MRT catted pipe.

The MRT piece is definately worth the price. It's a stainless piece and will not rust like other h-pipes. I had no problems with mine, it fit with no mods. And you will definately feel the power with it.

I have a hi flow H-pipe and I absolutely love it with the stock mufflers! A nice deeper sound at idle, no drone, great at wide open and accelaration.

No it did not set off the cel.

To those with the MRT H pipe. Did you have any problems with leaks at the mainfold flanges? or did you replace the studs with the fully threaded NAPA ones.

ps. does anyone know if the MRT H pipe that they sell here on PartShopper is the lastest version. Ninosports advertises that they sell the latest version but there price is $10 more.

Doesnt anyone like Bassani x-pipes better than an h-pipe or are we just talking about H's?

I would have picked up a Bassani X and Bassani catback instead of an MRT H and a flowmaster catback if I could have gotten it for the same price. Not saying Bassani is to pricey, it was just out of my price range. The MRT catted h was $399 when I got in in November, maybe the price has gone up though. Plus since the thread was created about hi-flo cats, the one thing I've heard (not to ruffle anyone's feathers) is that the quality of Bassani's hi flow cats are lacking.

I'm happy with the decision I made.
