What is the 8th character in your VIN?

Post a pic, your engine was probably replaced at some point could be NPI or maybe a PI crown vic motor.

You sure it is a 2002 GT?

yeah its a gt has traction controll and its in the side door decal.. how would i know if its a pi motor ,,

mmmmmaybe someone cracked a valve cover and replaced them with a set of covers from a non PI motor. a far as telling if it is a pi motor I believe the intakes from the pi motors only have one temp sensor threaded into the intake crossover. the non PIs to the best of my knowledge have two , one fffor the gauge and one for the puter.
