where is the best and cheapest place to find hid kit for 03-04 cobra? i have a 2000 gt but i got the 03-04 cobra bumper and want to get hid's for my headlights and fog lights. one of my friends says e can get them cheap but he can only get both for about $650. i fount them on stang mods for $200 per set. also wanted to know if the 05 fog light and the 04 cobra fog light take the same bulbs. i think they do but not positive.

Headlights are the same.

If you already have the foglight kit on your GT, just buy rebased bulbs in the correct size and reuse them with your current kit

i think most hid kits are rated to last at least 3000 hours or something like that

if you do get a HID kit PLEASE make sure your headlights are properly aimed and DEFINATLY get a wiring harness/relay for it. you can find them all over ebay for ~20. much better than melting up your stock headlight wiring and then having to replace all of that

I thought HID took less current? Why would it melt your harness?

Not trying to hi-jack the thread but I am also looking to get a HID kit for both my headlights and 03' cobra fog lights.

I was wondering which bulbs fit in my headlights as well as the fog lights. Basically I want to make sure that I am ordering the right kits.

Thanks guys and sorry op for butting in.

On startup the ballasts draw a LOT of current. Without a relay kit, you run the risk of burning up your harness AND shortening the life of the HID ballast.

HID Plug-n-play kits =

HID retrofits using OEM HID projectors =
