I think I used 14g or 16g wire, whatever the parts place had. It didnt really have to be anything specific for the headlight and corner light. As for the fan wires, I used a 10g wire.YellowBoss said:This is kind of a simple question, but what gauge wire do you need for lengthening those few wires?

Yeah its pretty easy. I just took out the finder liners and the wheels. There are 2 nuts on each of the inner fenders that hold the bumper to the fenders. Take those off. The hard part is taking the bumper cover loose from the headlight panel. The bumper cover wedges into the headlight panel and its a pain in the a$$ to get out. I think I broke a few of the tabs, but it does come out.mackey said:Yea. If the box is right side up, then the water will go into the wires. If anything, upside down would let the water run into the fuse box cover. Its not like its a desert here, we are over 10" above the normal rain amount for the year. If you are that concerned about water getting in it, put a plastic bag around it and tie it offh0oligan said:Yeah, I've been told that mounting anything like a fuse box upside down is bad news if it is an outdoor thing.
