Just wondering if anyone is running HIDs in their fox? I have tinted headlights on my fox and can't see at night I wanted to put HIDs in my car but was told I will blind other drivers? What are you guys running? Someone said silver stars will make a big difference?

I retrofitted HID projectors in my fox a few years back.

http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-for...-with-hids-the-right-way-lots-of-pics.612779/

It's great at night. Really makes a huge difference. I basically stopped driving the car at night, so I sold the retrofit I made. I've since become something of a 'purist' as far as exterior styling goes, so it's stock fluted lenses and halogen bulbs for me from here on out. I will say this though... I will never have a daily driver that doesn't have HIDs. Once you drive a car with them, you can't live without.

I tried two differant sets of HID's on my Mustang and could only get 1 light to work with both sets. Unplug the light that works then the other comes on. WTF!!!

Are we talking about fancy 9004 style light bulubs that have a blue coating or the real deal HID system that uses Xexon gas filled bulbs and an electronic control box?

I just had an HID kit in mine, but could only ever get one light to turn on. Unplugged the one that worked and the other side came on.
Got tired of messing with it so I'm getting some silverstars.

DDM Tuning. Probably the best HID company out there. You can get one of their low beam kits for like $35. I run 55w 8k's in my Ranger and I love them.
