HID's in Projector Headlights?

I was wondering if anyone has tried putting HID's in the 99-04 projector headlights. If anyone knows if they are brighter than just putting some HID's in the stock housings please let me know. Because it makes more sense that HID's in the projectors would be a whole lot brighter but I might be wrong.

Which ever housing you put it in, make sure the HID doesn't glare. It will annoy the hell out of the other road users.

The pattern of the beam on a wall should be like this

The cutoff point of the light should be clear.
