Posting this for someone...

Wife and I were about 20 minutes from home. Cruising at 60 and came to a stop at a light and noticed the idle wasn't coming down, in fact it went up a bit more and stayed at around 2100. I had just turned on the A/C and thought it had something to do with that. Turned off the A/C and went up another 300-400 rpm's. Pulled off the road and checked for everything I could, nothing obvious found, throttle cable is free. Started her back up and it's still hanging. Decided to head back home, even in 5th it would hold steady at 55mph without my foot on the gas. Got home and checked again for vac. leaks, cleaned the IAC, MAF, thought maybe the TPS was bad so I changed that and also disconnected the battery for a while thinking maybe a hiccup in the computer. There are no SES or CEL's, I don't have a code reader and didn't think about stopping by Autozone to get them read. Right now I'm kind of leaning towards a bad IAC. When I restrict the hose by squeezing it the rpm's drop. What do you guys think?
