Anybody here use replacement bulbs from JC Whitney? I see that they have Super White Xenon and Ultra White Xenon 9007 headlight bulbs ($12.99 and $29.99 respectively) as well as Super White Xenon 899 fog light bulbs ($19.99).

Do you think the Ultra White bulbs are worth the extra money? Do you think it would look better to simply go with Super Whites for both the headlights and fog lights?

Thanks in advance.

I used to use the superwhite xenons like those...but I started buying those Silverstars...they are, without a doubt, the brightest/cleanest set of bulbs ive ever owned. You can get a set at walmart for around 32 bucks i think.

I love my Silverstars, they were so much better than the ghetto 'Xenon' bulbs I used to buy. They aren't as white during the day but they've lasted 2 years and are much brighter.

I have had the Silverstars on two cars and can't complain. The only problem I had was that one of them was brighter than the other. I took it back to Kragen where I bought them. The guy came and looked and changed it out on the spot.

I don't think there are Silverstar fog light replacement bulbs though. I wouldn't want my fog lights and headlights to mismatch. Or is that not a problem? Or am I just being picky?

There were, I bought a around November last year. They blew though due to a manufacturing defect. Sylvania refunded my money and told me they should have it fixed in a few more weeks. I'll probably buy them again, they have great customer service

I actually bought some superwhite fogs off of ebay...and they match my silverstars color wise, but the silverstars are just so clean and bright...i dont know if any H3(i think thats the fog bulb) could match em.

I like the Silverstars too. They are undoubtedly the best bulbs I have found for the money.

Is 893/899 also the part number for 99/01 Cobra fogs?

<--- See how yellow that guy is? That's how bad my HID's make my foglight bulbs look.

Oh yeah, get an HID kit.
