High-mileage 94-98 4.6s...

I am always told two things from my Grandpa who is a dealer when I am about to by another car:
"There is always another car" and, "If everything is coming your way, you are going the wrong way on the wrong side of the road."
These two thoughts have probably kept me out of a few sweet but sour deals. Forpit2000GT has the right idea. Find out maintenance history and point out everyting wrong with the car to use as leverage on striking a deal. You could get the car for cheaper than you thought! Good luck!

Yeah they are pretty good engines, and if there is ever a problem with any internals, there are tons and tons of 4.6 parts laying around new and used on the net so it wouldnt be a problem fixing something for cheap

You might want to check the coolant crossover that is on the car now. If it has 130k miles on it, then there is a good chance that the stock manifold has already broken and been replaced. I mean hell, my stock intake didn't even make it to 60,000 miles......
