High pressure AC switch and low pressure AC switch

A/C hasn’t been working on my 08 V6. Tried a recharge: nothing. Replaced the AC Cycling switch. Nothing. The Clutch seems to turn on, the pressure drops in the system and then the clutch turns off. Tried to jump the clutch and it will stay on with the jump but there will be no pressure in the system. Wondering, first off, if there is both a high pressure switch and a low pressure switch? Also could this indicate a bad compressor?

Wondering basically the same thing.. 2005 v6.. A/C used to work great.. Now, I have SOME pressure in the AC, but not clear on how high is too high. compressor cycles on for about 3 seconds, off for 6.. I THINK I just need more freon (there was already some residual pressure, so I dont think I need to vacuum it out for air/moisture..) I can't find a table as to what pressure is correct for this car...
