I've heard of high volume but i guess i never realized they had high pressure units also. Are these good/bad? Necessary? I was looking at M-68 and M-68a on summit. (melling pumps)

i have the melling high volume pump...
my reasoning was becuse i wanted good luberication for my top end as well as good lube for my S/c BUT i had to go up to a 7qt oil pan (i didnt want to suck the stocker dry)

Yea well i know of the benefits for high volume and the need for a bigger pan. I just havent seen or heard about the high pressure units. Is there any reason NOT to get one?
