I was driving home tonight and was passing a car in front of me that was going to slow and dropped it down into 4th and the car started bucking real bad. Then as I slowed down I started to smell gas. I have changed the fuel filter not to long ago. I was leaning towards the fuel injectors either being cloged or leaking gas. What do yall think? I have had the car dyno tuned not to long ago and have since put on a new and bigger mass air meter. Do you think that could be the problem? You see what I did was put a rebuilt motor in my car and I used some aftermarket bolt on's like everone has. One which was a 73mm mass air meter. Well I didn't know at the time but I put on my stock sensor plug that bolts to the housing of the meter right. Well I also upgraded to bigger 24lbs injectors. Well in my mind since the C&L I got uses flow tubes to be calibrated instead of like my new pro-m 80 mm that uses the senser to do the calibration. So if you see were I am going with this is that my stock plug was put on the aftermarket meter and I put in bigger injectors so there has got to be a problem with this due to the factory sensor plug being for my factory 19lbs injectors and I now have 24lbs injectors. Do you see what I am saying. But my tune guy said that even though he didn't catch this problem it didn't really make that big of a deal. Is he wrong or am I over reacting. But now I have the right mass air meter that has the correct cal. but now I think I may need to get a reburn on my chip? What do yall think? Sorry for the long rant just trying to talk myself into keeping my car and not going a getting a 4.6 Any help would be great!!
