I think In GA the car just has to be at least 25 years old. I have historic plates and probably put 15k-20k miles on my car a year.

15-20K??? But you put so much work into it!
OK - I know it's your car, but consider it a compliment.

As for NY - it's 25 here as well. That's why I have customized plates instead of historical plates. I'm not sure on how each state works, but in NY, I can mount older version license plates on the car based upon the model year of the car. My 1987 plates are patiently waiting!

Instead of saving my money and buying a daily driver, I pour it into this car so Im stuck using it as a daily driver. I probably dont put that many miles on it, I've probably put 30k on it in 4 years, for the past year I've had to drive it quite a bit since school is 20 miles 1 way.

At least you are in GA and don't have to worry about snow/salt, etc. I couldn't even try to use my Mustang as a DD up here. You are in a better situation down there.
