My father hit a 5" high curb at 30~MPH at a 45* angle.
It caused $11,250 in dammage. Broke both passenger wheels, bent the strut, lower control arm, k-memeber, rad support. Also broke the intercooler and the bumper.

Curbs suck, fathers that are ass hole POS suck more.

How did you hit a curb? Do you have insurance? I can't tell you to file a false claim but I'd see if there's a way insurance can fix it

I guarantee your tie rod is toast. Probably some other things as well. Curbs don't give, so something in your car does instead. Hopefully you are lucky and it's just
a bent tie rod, but I'd not count on it.

I had a tow truck pick it up and drop it off at the shop. I do have insurance but only liability (Farmers Insurance). It looks like the tires are facing outwards on both ends. The car still rolls and is drive able but the steering wheel has to be place almost upside down in order to get the car going semi straight!

We can't just magically tell you what you broke without seeing the damage.

One bright spot in that situation is your father selling the Cobra out from under you keeps you from having to disclose to a buyer the car had that much damage.

Inquiring minds want to know. I use to think just road rash on rims was impossible until I actually did it for the first time last year. First time for everything.

I hit a curb money moons ago in my VW Bug. At the time I thought no big deal. About a month later the upper ball joint broke. Lucky I was only doing 25mph or so. I had both ball joints replaced. Curbs can do more damage than you think. Pearl02.
