How the hell do you get the top starter bolt out? I spent more time on that today and didn't get anywhere. Not only that but I can't get one of the power steering bolts out too. There is a line in front of it that would completely netgate the reason for leaving the pump attached in the first place.

All I have left is to take the starter and P/S pump off and undo the motor mounts and it is ready to yank.

that starter bolt is a pain in the ass....use a curved wrench...its like a half circle...it still will take like 10 minutes just to get that bolt out. If you dont have that wrench i have one you could borrow. :nice:

Your engine bay must be a little different than mine. I can pull the motor and tranny with the starter on. I didn't have any issues with the power steering pump bolts either. They were just 10mm bolts.

I am going to pull the whole damn thing too, I can't get it off. I tried a curved wrench, long extensions to reach from the front. I still can't get it.

I got the power steering off, too a while only being able to make a 1/4 turn every time.

Now I am having issues with the motor mounts.
