Yeah, i borrowed my buddys slicks a couple of months ago. Just had to get a pic, lol.

this pic was taken at my Buddies Store. He owns an Exxon and Garage. Has become a local Mustang hangout spot, lol.

On any given day there are quite a few stangs their.

Thursday nights is cruise night in my area, a good 25+ Stangs head out there and chill. His store is right smack in the middle of the best cruising spots in McAllen!

See I believe a NON-PI Headed stang with a PI Intake Only w/Blower can run 12's

What do you guys think?

With good driving and prep, absolutely! Add PI cams to the mix, pulley it for more airflow and do a little suspension and gear work and I wouldn't even think hight-11's are out of the realm of possibilities with good traction.

I love the spray 2. But I will be getting a Novi 2000 soon when future mods are done. Also CobraM23 maybe you are right, i have ran a 9.2 at Shadyside in Shelby, NC. They dont prep that track good there at all

Maybe 11's - THEN WHY DOES EVERYONE ALMOST ON THIS BOARD DISS 96-98 GT's, all they say is "Get the heads" starting now my car is going 2 be proof that a NON-PI stang can run!!

Because most here don't know any better. The real stumbling block for the NPI cars are the cams and the intake. Swapping those out puts them right up within 10hp of a '99-up PI engine. Sticking with your Non-PI head castings cuts the cost dramatically and keeps compression levels blower friendly allowing for more aggressive boost and timing levels across the board than a PI head swap car.
