Ok, when I raise my hood after driving or if the car is somewhat warm, I smell coolant. Nothing is leaking anywhere, I've checked everything. The rebuild on everything is a year old. What could be the problem? Also, I let it sit for about 3 weeks or so over xmas and when I got back there was a little coolant on the ground that I saw was dripping off of the balancer. But with normal use it doesn't leak anything. Any ideas?

Yes, you have a leak.
It's just with the car warming up the coolant is being evaporated, so you don't see it, but smell it.
If it's on the balancer area, I would say it's your waterpump.
Start the car, and run it till you get it up to operating temperature and look at the waterpump. There is a small hole under the casting. I susupect it is leaking from there. It means your waterpump bearing is shot and it's time for a waterpump replacement.
But it also could just be a bad hose. Check all the hoses at the waterpump and look for cracks or loose clamps.

ok, I checked all the hoses (I have the blue silicon set) and they look fine, so I guess I should move on to the waterpump. T-stat housing looks fine also.

Ok, I noticed something. I see a little green where the lower intake meets the head in the front on the passenger side. Intake gasket maybe?
