They make new pistons every day, so why worry?

Well, something shiny came in the mail today... a new Holley Sniper sheet metal intake manifold. I'll be installing this in a few weeks and will not only detail the install but show the performance gains with some back to back dyno testing.
So far, here it is:

Before this he was probably close to 700 he shut the car down a little early on the dyno and I don't think ever release the numbers from a full pass.

So after test fitting or trying to this intake is garbage... Unless of course I want to spend 6 hours with it clamped in a milling machine squaring the flanges, machining the fuel rail stands and throttle body mount. Nevermind reinventing the blower tubing and eliminating all of the emissions on the car. Simply put, this would probably be great for a coyote swap. This intake is a waste of time on the S550. I'm slightly dissapointed but I think that feeling will subside once we get the coyote swap project in my 85 going.

Sorry for the delay in the updates, we didn't actually test fit this until the beginning of August. For the record, the car made 676rwhp before the changes I have just made. Hoping to see closer to 800 rwhp now and looking for a 9 second pass. As I get closer to finishing the car I'll post an update.
