Well, i normally would lean towards BG even though i've never owned one...i just hear a lot of good things about them. BUT, one of the guys over on carbdford.com just had some kind of problem with his Demon on that exact intake you're using. Something about how the BG base plate is designed didn't work with the intake and to make a long story short he had a nasty vacuum leak that couldn't be solved except by switching intakes, so he went back to his 4150 Holley.

The biggest advantage you get with a BG (and that really depends on which one you get) is the annular boosters which will give you better throttle response at low RPMs, but they're also known to be too sensitive when paired with a rowdy cam, which i think you might have so i'm gonna say stick with a Holley on this one.

If you're already comfortable with the 4150 i'd just rebuild the one you have. Check the metering blocks and make sure they're not warped (just put a known straight edge like a ruler up to them and see if they're flat) and put new floats and needle assemblies and power valves and gaskets and you'll be good to go. Personally i'm gonna give vacuum secondaries another chance. I've never had much luck with them so i've always favored mechanical secondaries but i've learned a lot about tuning so i think i can make it work for me now.

My advice, unless you've already bought the Air Gap, get a Stealth instead. I think you'd do pretty well with this carb right here...but that's just my opinion. You could always call Holley's tech line and tell them your head/cam combo and they'll give you their opinion. This is a really nice carb for a street/strip car. http://store.summitracing.com/partd...4294919007+400178+4294891681+115&autoview=sku
