homemade spring compressor

i put frpp c springs under mine and didn't need one. just put the jack under the a and ease it down. when it goes back in put it where you want it and jack it back up. probably wouldn't work on a stock spring but works well for lowering springs

well i need to take off the stock spring to cut them or to go with 4 cyl. ones cause with the aluminum heads and all,the front of the car is to high now.

But im thinking coil over now...

Cutting the springs is a bad idea. You mess up the end of the spring where it sits on the A arm or chassis. The heat generated in the cutting process can affect the spring's temper. Some 4 cylinder springs would be good for a drag car, and might even be good for the street since you have lightened the front of the car..

i was thinking cutting a full turn of the spring with a steel saw...

but if i find 4 cyl. coils. it will be this.

will 4 cyl coil bring back my front equal to the rear?

look the pic.
