Hey guys,

I usually drive my 01gt alone, but the other day I had a buddy in the car with me, and he noticed everytime i hit a bump in the road, the car's hood wound wobble.
I never noticed this before.

when I got to where i was going, I got out, and i tried using my hands and move the hood trying to make it display some slack. the hood is on tight and didnt move.
Now when i drive, i notice the hood shake a little bit when I am driving it over bumps in the road. its very annoying. is this normal? its a stock hood.
Should i get hood pins?

are you sure it's just the hood and not the whole front section of the car? sounds like it might just be a bit of flex in the body.

They all have a TINY bit of wobble to them. My 04 did when it was new, the hood was tight as hell when u wiggle it but it had a slight wobble when hitting good bumps. My 98 has the same issue. as long as your hood bumps are adjusted and your latch is in good shape, I wouldn't worry about it. Worse case, put hood pins in and forget it.

My stock hood did this as well. Weirdly enough, my Cervini's Cobra R hood is nice and stationary, and overall fits better than the stock hood did
