Hood cowl replacement?

I pretty much destroyed my hood cowl yesterday taking it off. My Q is would it be easier putting it back on with the hood off? I have no problem removing those 4 bolts and the hood if it means an easier installation and this new one not breaking.

I'm prolly gonna order it off 5.0 resto for friggen $175 and a new set of nozzles, anybody know if its OEM ford for both?

autoglass tech here, its tricky but you gotta open the hood to undo it all, then close the hood half way to get it out, then back in. thats the easiest and fastest way while doing glass replacement on the road. but if you got the time pull the hood off, heck maybe you can do some work or something with it off

oh and call the ford dealership i got one a couple years back for like 100 bucks and it came with everything.
