Hood for 1in spacer + trick flow intake

How much of a cowl are you guys running with this set up. I want the cobra r style hood from 1995. I like the 2.5in cowl but unsure if i need more of a cowl. How would I go about measuring how much of a cowl I need.

You should be fine w/ that. I called Summit on this issue and they said it was only a fitment issue w/ stock hoods.

My 3/8 spacer fit under a 96 cobra hood with quite a bit of room. I would think a 2.5 would be more than plenty.

Yeah the * mark is only next to the 1" spacer in the summit book, the 3/8's will fit fine w/ stock hoods.

I have a 1 inch spacer with a gt40 intake and it clears my 2.5 r hood just fine if that helps any.

i run the same setup with a 3in cowl

i also have a 3 inch cowl and you can house midgets under there and a 1 inch spacer
