Anyone know where I can order a new hood insulator pad for an '06 GT? (Other than a Ford dealer.) Also need the insulation wrap around the battery. A rodent got under my hood and chewed away. Luckily none of the wires were chewed.

Thanks

I think I saw a nice one at Western Motorsports site. It's a lot nicer than the stock one but probably more $$ if that is a concern. You may want to get the part #'s for those from your local dealer and then go to fordparts.com and see if they carry them, they are generally cheaper.

I found the one on Western Motorsports for $80. It has the pony logo.

I also found the OEM one on fordparts.com for $72. The local Ford Service Department quoted me $150 installed for a new one. Whew!

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

For the stock hood, the WMS liner looks fairly decent. I had to remove my factory liner due to the WMS filter putting an imprint on the driver side of the liner...it looked horrible(like grill marks ). The price, $80 isn't bad cosidering the factory one is $72 Of course coming from Canada, it could be kinda high shipping...

No shipping for me, WMS is in Calgary. About a 20-25 minute drive from my house. I might have to consider that liner myself.
