I have a Cervini 1.5" cowl hood w/ hood pins. I cant install the original prop rod because the hood pins are right in the way. Any ideas??? I think i can heat the old one up and bend it, but i dont think i have anything to heat it with, and i would probably F it up somehow.
I have the same issue. I just installed a 2 1/2 cowl hood, unknown brand and I don't have any room for the hood prop. I usually have my hood open for some reason or another. I'm looking for alternatives methods that would be functional and professional looking. Pictures would be helpful.
I put these on my wife's 96 Cobra and agree that they are a great product. Very well made. However, the installation instructions did say that there may be fitment issues on aftermarket hoods. No details, but the warning was there. Maybe someone that has them on an aftermarket install can chime in.
