I recently purchased an Alpine CDM-9821 reciever, and one of these so that I could hook my iPod to my deck.
Well my original plan was to just have a cable coming out between two piece of the dash. Well I desided that would look to cheap, so I went to radio shack and picked me up one of these which I spliced onto the cable.
Then I drilled a hole in the shifter bazel opposite of the cigarete plug.
Then I am going to get one of these and have it in the front cupholder.
