I'm thinking about going with the Hooker Longtubes. Do you have to use their matching X-Pipe? Will any other mid pipes work? I'm just not sure how an X-Pipe is going to sound with my Flowmaster 2 Chamber dumps. I would prefer to use an H-Pipe.

-Thanks.

Yes you do, or you can fabricate a slip fit collector on your midpipe to match.

like ^ said, its a slipfit design, not like the ball and socket design of mac and bbk.

you can get something fabricated, but it'll probably cost a lot.

I would guess it would cost about $130.

I'm used to high hawaii prices. I paid near $200 to have my xpipe flared, to fit my collectors since the guy that sold me the parts didn't include the last part .

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll try out the Hooker X-Pipe and see how it sounds.

Here is a bigger pic of the avatar for you rebelleader, sorry I don't have any others at the moment. The hood was on there when I bought the car. It is a carbon fiber VIS hood.
