Hooking up a/f ratio gauge???

Wish I could help.... I bought one and haven't installed it yet. Just thought I would warn you... you are going to hear how stupid you are for wasting your money on the light show  .... so I wanted to post that you aren't alone. I'm right here with ya. :D

well gcomfx, i could really care less, because if something was to happen, say my fuel pump takes a **** while i'm racing, i'm gonna see my car go way lean and back out instead of blowing a head gasket, so let them think its stupid, but i think its worth the security.

so black for ground, red for power, and purple for lights. so the red hooks up to the black o2 wire. and do i just hook the purple up to my clock wire so its always on. thanks

Without a wideband it's going to be a light show, but it's not useless. You will have a general idea where your sitting. It tells you what the computer is doing with the fuel. I'm going to hook mine back up but with a seperate 02 just for the guage. Oh yeah, a wideband will cost you a pretty penny.

i'm running a Wideband with mine and it don't bounce at all... I think its the best way to go... If your serious in racing I would get a Wideband not to expensive... PLX sells a reallly nice one for 350 i believe. OR LM1

I appreciate the link, but I need an illumination wire that i can tap into so even when the parking lights are off, the gauge still lights up, thats why i wanted to tap into the clock because thats always on. Its also right by where the gauge is.

Well I wanted to have the gauge on without having to turn any other lights on, but I guess its not a problem running around with parking light and fogs on.

Also, that wideband gauge is a great product it looks like but I'm not in the market to spend $320 on that right now when I already have the gauge.
