Horn and seat track

Hello,

Need some more input on the 94 GT.

I swapped the driver seat track to a manual set up today. It really seemed like a no brainer (I was going fast as it was getting dark) and I dont see where i could have gotten anything wrong. however, with the now manual seat all the way back, i dont have a whole lot of legroom. I am only 6' tall (some of you guys are a lot taller) and wondering what I might have messed up. the old broken electric track allowed the seat to go back a bit further (since it did not work, i dont know how much, but i had it set further back before). Thoughts?

Also, the ol' horn does not work. i will go check the manual for relays and fuses to check, but wanted to see if anyone had any tips or ideas that i would not find in the book (search revealed nothing). if it is the horn switch in the steering wheel, what is involved in swapping one out (messing with air bag wheels scares me)?

Removing the air bag isn't anything you should be scared of...lol. Don't worry. Worst it will do is scare the crap out of you...lol.

I don't know how the horn switch works on our car. I assume when you hit the steering wheel, it closes a gap and allows 12v+ to get to the horn, and the horn is always grounded.

Is there anything else in the car that doesn't work???? You can test fuses if you like, simple test light will show you in a matter of seconds.

I would take off the steering wheel cover, see how it works and see if a tab needs to be bent, or whatever.

My seat is electric. I can't comment on the manual track. I would take a look at it in some light and see if it can be adjusted. IDK, TTT for you on that one.

yeah, everything else works. i took a quick peak while trying to get the freezer in the garage to actually keep the food frozen and there is a relay for the horn in the box under the hood. i did not see a fuse inside the car for the horn (like there is on foxes), but i could have missed it while lookin real quick.

so i will probably start at the relay and test values and try and go from that (i generally like to start at a junction point like a relay so i have a direction to go when tracing wires).

the pass and driver seat appear to be in the same spot when both are back all the way - maybe i am just not used to it. i could have drilled the seat and track to get a couple extra inches, but it does not bother me that much. i just wanted to touch base with people and make sure there was not something hideous that i could have done to mess up the installation (it really is plug and play, it seems).
i wonder how guys like Ernan fit in the car anyhow (i think he is like 6'6" or more). I have 27" quads, so i like to have a little room to move the legs around.
