Well after I got the balancer changed, I still have a vibration, but this time I know its a misfire.
The cars revs like jump up when I get on it, like im running on 7.
The balancer needed to be replaced anyway, the rubber was coming out in the back.
I ran a cylinder balance test yesterday and it came up with cylinder 2.
I also have trouble code that
172- HEGO sensor circuit indicates lean. (Rear Side).
I guess maybe cylinder 2 isn't firing? The wire is fine on both sides, I didn't pull the plug yet. So I guess its a plug or an injector? What do you guys think?
Im going to double check firing order right now as well.

Well I just unplugged #2 from the cap, the car runs practically the same. I drove it to work, hope that doesn't mess things up badly running practically on 7.
I guess theres not much you guys can do, I just have to swap the wire and look at the plug.

What happens if the injector is bad?

If the injector's bad, it stops energizing.

A noid light can make sure it's getting 12 volts and the ground pulse from the driver to fire.

You can rerun the CBT twice more (after doing it once) to see how bad the miss is - but it sounds like it's pretty bad. I gotta say having an injector fail is not tops on my list.

Good luck Joe.

To test an injector, can you hook up 12V to a injector straight from a battery and see if it clicks or something? Like hook 12V+ on one side, and quickly tap ground on the other????

Just thinking outloud here...

But yeah, you need to make sure the computer is pulsing ground first, otherwise you will be pulling your hair out...

Okay, well yeah it definetally is something with the number 2 injector.
We used an auto stethoscope, and we can hear all of the injectors cleary clicking except #2, the weak cylinder.
We used inj. #1's wiring harness to see if we could get #2 to click, and it worked. So either the computer is not grounding out #2 Injector for some odd reason, or the wiring is broken somewhere.
I will get a noid light to confirm all this tomorrow.

Hey, well glad you were able to narrow it down. I forget about the stethoscope method......Step 1 complete......

Next you need to see if you are missing + or gnd. With the ignition on, the solid red wire should have 12V+. If it doesn't, your problem is there, and you can just steal it from another injector. If it does, then move on to the ground situation w/ the noid light.

Would there be any REASON that the computer isn't grounding it out, or is it just a wiring problem??
Do the wires trace all the way back to the PCM, or do they go somewhere else first?
