We shot it with our $197 JVC WalMart special camcorder LOL

I love that thing, it cost a fraction of the most expensive ones out there but does a great job...even shoots in 16:9!

I was thinking the same, that car is nasty and should be roasting the h-e-double hockey sticks out of those tires!

LOL, I haven't actually installed the 8.8" TracLoc rearend with 3.73's yet, so I'm doing the one-wheel-peel with 2.80's out back

I hope to have the 8.8 rear end in after it cools off here (Arizona), maybe in September.

Matt, that car is looking great! I've been spending alot of time over in 5.0 tech lately as I've been building a 331 for my '88 GT, so I haven't been over here that much. Did you get it painted and get new wheels? Love the maroon stripes

Your car has a perfect stance to it! What size rims/tires? And do you have any rubbing issues? Are the fenders rolled?

Well it has me scratching my head. Looks an awful lot like South Ave D or South Somerton Ave in Somerton, Mexico. But you'd have to keep that sweet ride buried deep 24/7/365 for me not to have noticed it before.......

If not that, somewhere that I have spent some time in the past...... Marana, Mexico? It just looks too familiar.

Waitamintue..... Queen Creek, Mexico!

Thanks

Wheels: 17x8 , 4.75" backspacing.

Tires: 235x45x17

Front Suspension: Shelby Drop, 620 springs with 1/2 coil cut, 1" sway
Rear Suspension: 4 1/2 leaf mideye springs

I only mildly tried to roll the passenger side fender with bad results. Doesn't really need it though, there's virtually no rubbing at all - only over BIG bumps...and when it does rub it doesn't hurt or mark the tires at all.

haha thanks for noticing, yes I taped and did the prep work on the stripes and then had a buddy paint them (he did it for free) so those cost me a total of 200.00. I did get rims also so yeah, the car is coming together. Lately I have carpeted the trunk, moved the battery to the trunk done interior work and the car is finally coming together. Hope all is well.

Matt
