I'm trying to figure out how to piece together a junkard 5 lug, disc brake swap for cheap... so how about a turbo coupe rear with the MPV rotors & 1/8" spacer to convert to 5 lug, '94-'95 front spindles, and '99+ Mustang front brakes?

Would these parts work together? What kind of master cylinder would be needed? Any other essential parts to be aware of/budget for this swap?

I can get a TC rear locally for a good price, I figure '94-'95 spindles are common enough online, and '99+ front brakes should be cheap enough for either rebuilt or low mile OEM stuff... Could just do SN95 brakes all around, but with the TC rear I get lower gears, and shouldn't really have to mess with a rear disc swap...

you will have to use the 94-95 calipers and rotors. the brackets are different. at least the ones i have seend the 99+ cars have larger rotors

I believe that the TC rear is too wide to fit a fox. The 8.8 gears will fit, but the axels are too long IIRC. I could be wrong.
If you want the 99+ brakes i would go with 96+ spindles brackets. 94-95 cobra brakes would probably perform just as well and cost about the same in the end. cant go wrong either way.

Only the calipers are different. The 99+ 2-piston GT calipers will bolt onto the 94-95 spindle with a little grinding on the "ears"

The rotor sizes are the same. 87+ Fox Mustangs have a 10.8" rotor, 94-98 GT/V6 Mustangs have a 10.8" rotor. 99-04 GT/V6 Mustangs have a 10.8" rotor. The difference in performance however is in the caliper mostly. Also the SN95 design of a 2-peice rotor and hub allows for better cooling than the fox 1-peice.

I take it all back apparently the TC rear will work and there is currently a thread in tech that goes into detail on how to make it work.

I highly recommend skipping the 94-98 calipers and just go right for the 99-04's. They are dual piston, and are much lighter than the iron 94-98's.

Get a whole rear end off a 94-98 gt mustang with the brakes, These come with a 5 lug 3.27 geard 8.8 I believe. Yes it is a tad longer than the fox axle but you can run any 17x8 gt wheel pre 05 just fine. The 99+ will be even longer than the previous 94-98. Get som 94-95 spindles and get the calipers and rotors off a 99+ gt. The 94-95 single piston caliper, though still an upgrade from the fox is marginal compared to the dual pistons.
