I am wondering if its worth buying an air/fuel guage. I really dont have many mods but witht he predator i'd like to know how i'm running. Anyone sites that show how to install them. I am going to try and install it in where my cd player was. I know there is autometer and am probely going to get that but any other good companies?

it doesn't give you a true reading at WOT which is when knowing your a/f is the most important. You need a wideband o2 sensor and something that can convert the voltage reading off it into a a/f reading. You can just buy a bosch wideband o2 sensor for like $50-60 or whatever it is and then get a laptop tuning package which can datalog everything.

if you want a gauge, your best bet is the wideband commander as that looks like a normal a/f gauge but reads a wideband o2. there is also the AEM UEGO which is a gauge type setup. The LM-1 is really only good if you want to datalog runs and move it between multiple cars.

just checked out the site, but with the lm-1 how can i drive the car and see the info? I dont have a dyno at my house. Why are the reg guages bad?
Do you have a computer? :D Check the 'Two Guys Garage' video at www.innovatemotorsports.com. You want to keep you eyes on the road and let the LM-1 record the data, then upload it to your PC. (They show all this on the video, after the commercial break they take it on the road) Once adjusted, you shouldn't need to monitor your A/F ratio constantly like oil pressure or water temp...
