I removed the lower intake to put put a Cobra intake on, and a lot of old dirt and gunky stuff fell into the valley area. Some of the dirt went into the ports that lead to the cylinder heads. Im gonna get a shop vac and get what i can, if i dont get it all will it be ok? Please bring me good news

OK Good, im just kinda paranoid, this is the biggest thing ive done to my car without any guidance.

the shop vac should work fine to get all the crud out....thats what i used and i never had any problems

yea, it should burn up, intake cleaner would be good on your ports mosl likely

Run the engine for 1-3 hours & change the oil. That will allow enough time for the oil to wash all the loose crud down into the pan. Check the oil for milky color which would indicate a water leak when you drain it.

It should be fine, follow jrichkers advice just to be safe. Next time, or for anyone about to do this: I tore some shop paper towels in half and folded them up to fit in the intake ports in the heads and water jackets. I packed them in each port, where they didnt stick up. Then I scraped the gasket suface. When I was done I used a shop vac to remove all the chunks, then carefully pulled each towel out while holding the vac close to it. NO junk should enter the cylinders this way. Better safe then sorry.
