Are you sure? You said it weighs around 3439 in the same thread. Guess what? They don't weight 3800 lbs. They weigh around 34xx-35xx
I think your misunderstanding what im saying

are you serious? I said the camaro weighs 3439 and the early sn-95 weighs 3077 cuz that's what the manufacturer dry weight specs are. Then you say ur mustang weighs 3400 (cuz it proly does with battery, fuel, spare tire..) and this is a logical idea, but if your comparing full weight then the camaro weighs around 3800 like i said.

Yes you did say that. My car weighs around 34xx for a curb weight and a 95 Cobra(an early SN 95) weighs around 33xx. These are similar weights as an F-Body.
Show me where a Camaro weighs 3800 lbs. What is next comparing drivers weight as well?
The fact of the matter is that the F-Body stock suspension is better than the Mustangs. That is why Mustang Road racers go to that setup. Gee, I wonder why?
Also who the hell compares dry weight of a car when it comes to racing?
Actually it is more used for comparing motorcycles, that is why Curb weight is commonly used for automobiles. With that said, I am still asking how you are coming up with 3800 pounds for a F-Body when when people are getting 3400-3500 lbs for a curb weight(full weight minus the driver aka curb weight), and 3600 with a 175 lb driver sitting in it. Where is that additional weight coming from? Please enlighten me.dry weight is a fine comparison when looking at car, cuz full weight you can usually add the same amount to each car. so 362 lbs difference dry vs. dry = usually 362lbs diff. full vs full with same driver. And the whole time we've been talking about the GT vs camaro, so the weight i was reffering to was of course of a GT not a cobra.
Sorry, I own both cars and educated on both, so I don't have to come up with some half @ssed guess because I have no clue about the other cars. Actually comments like that were exactly what I was referring about in the other thread we posted on regarding owning both carsBut please, go on speaking of the greatness of the camaro on STAGnet - im sure your efforts will show to be fruitful
S Actually comments like that were exactly what I was referring about in the other thread we posted on regarding owning both cars.
So basically you have no idea where you got 3800 lbs. I'll accept that.number i was comparing was curb weight, i was using dry in the place of curd for some reason.
And the GT500 has many improvments over our suspension yet it still handles like a pig. The camaro weighs more and has worse weight distribution - so hence putting stock camaro suspension in stang makes it even more better handling.
Well I dont know crap about SRT4's, so I dont make ***** up about them without knowing if I am right or not. All I am doing is correcting misinformation, which is why we all are here. To learn from everyone and to help people out.i have no problem with people owning both carsjust people who get up on soapboxes about it

that's affirmative. He's going to serve your 4000lb ride a cold one too. 14 flats arn't going to do anything to a modded SS lS1
A 1996 AT/ GT will be lucky to break 15's. So, he will win by 15+ cars in the 1/4.
sn-95 gt VERT is proly 3300 lbs curb
come on guys, my vert weighted in a 3540lb with me 160lb and a half tank of gas spare tire and all. My brothers v6 weighted in at 3130lb with him and a full tank. My dads 5.0 notch weighted in at 3109lb with him and a full tank. So I think a sn95 gt would be around 3300lb. My buddy's 95 LT1 auto z28 come out to be 3551 with him and full tank.
