How big are the gas tanks in the 04 GTs??

Im serious i dont, i shift at about 2k every time and i never punch it. Would my mods be doing this??? i dont see why.

Ive been wondering lately if i should take it in and have it checked out.

You don't own a lightly mod'd Mustang GT and drive it like it's a Buick Century.

well before i started putting mods on her she was getting like 240-290 per tank (91 octane) depending on hwy vs. street and no a/c. your 205 sounds a little low to me. but the way i look at it, more air, means that your computer should put more fuel in I.E. worse mileage? not sure if thats right. i dunno that much about the ECC-IV's or what ever it is that we have. But it looks like all you have for more air is that FIPK.

as far as the fuel tank. when i drive around with the low fuel light on for like 15 miles i go for a fill up and the most i can put is high 13-14 gal. i dont have my owners manual any more (long story).

also since my mods, i get about 190-260 street- freeway with the a/c on a little bit, not all the time though.

I get 175 easy city driving IF I'M LUCKY. I got about 200 if I drove like a complete pansy when I drove it off the lot, til I did my exhaust. Be happy you're getting 205.

Lately I have been considering getting it checked on also....
I seem to have to fill up every 3-4 days with pretty minimal driving....Sure the a/c is on now, but it cant be the only reason...
what could cause such gas consumption. I know ls1/lt1s that fill up less often then me.

Yup. I'm with you guys. Once I hit just under 200, the "hey a$$hole" light dings on. But then when I go to fill up, I only fill 13 gallons. So it ususally equals 16mpg.

I'm thinking of getting a tune up in hopes to correct this. Maybe a faulty seal or something?

Well i just got off the phone with the local ford dealership and he is saying that i should have my fuel filter changed and it would fix the gas consumption issue....

The car only has 13K miles on it does that sound right???...

I get better mileage than that and I got 4.10's. heck I got better than that with a night at the track too. Also so far I've knocked down my best MPG shifting at 2500rpm. Now GIt-it you gotta tell us how you knock down that kinda MPG.

Ok i just checked my owners manual and scheduled maintance manual and at both the 10k and 15k service it does NOT state to have my fuel filter replaced...
I guess the guy up at the dealership was blowing smoke up my a$$.
