I'm sorry but I've watched it a few times and Kovalev did not get hit HARD on the hand, barely tapped, and it's still no excuse for running into his own player, seems Melrose and Ferraro on ESPN go even further than me and say he was faking it like Robiero.

The NHL is hurting for money so memos were sent out to let montreal win to extend the series and bring in more revenue. Rivalries sell tickets and boost tv ratings/revenue.

I would like to thank the newest Hab, Joe Thornton, for the great game he played. Joe was directly involved in at least 3 Montreal goals. Not bad in a 5-1 hosing.
