i just received my mac flowpath and they are very shiney (ooooh, shiney good) i would really like to keep them that way but i know that with time they will rust and look like crap :damnit: my question is, is there anything i can put on them to keep them looking new? maybe a spray or clear coat or something?

mmmmmmmmkay. still sucks, but i guess it'll be worth it, so there's no spray that can be applied and protect it permanently??

Go to a Harley shop and ask them what they have to protect them if there's anything out there they would have it.

Do like Andy (RIO) and I, just get under the car once a week and wipe everything down! If you spray anything on them it will melt away and degrade the look. Mothers polish will keep them looking good until it rains.

Every nite you put it on the lift and give it a good cleaning..... That was bad !!!!

Seriously...douche em down with WD-40 and wipe em down, you'll be surprised how that shine will last...Driving in the rain or Winters??? That'll kill em for sure...my exhaust still looks like new after 3 yrs, so the WD really helps..Although I do also use the Mothers couple times a year...

These muffs I just removed...3yrs old, so the WD does work...

I have a Mac catback that has been on mine and my dads cars for a few years now (4-5 Id say at least)...

Still looks brand new, and all we do is wash it with the car, and a little car wax actually! Hard to see here, but they do look brand new!
