How can I tell if the Fuel Pressure Regulator has gone bad?

I'm chasing down a lean condition and want to know if there's a way for me to check and see if my Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator is bad.

there should be a fuel line connected to it, just unhook the fuel line, and if it leakes out gas from the regulator then you need a new one....

I had one go bad, or was bad from the start.

i would set the FP and 3 days later it would be 3 PSI higher.

i would set it back again and would be lower in 3 days.

finnaly swaped for a new kerbin from a bad kirbin, and a new guage setup.

so far so good except for my fuel rail poped off 4 of the injectors on friday.

well, it isn't leaking gas, it holds the proper pressure as long as I tighten the stop nut enough and looses pressure down to zero over about 1/2 an hour.

Sound like its ok?

disconnect the Vac line to it - if there is fuel in the vac line, that suggests the diaphram is bad.
