An a9p is not a speed density computer and shouldn't be in an 87 unless you converted to mass air. Did you convert to mass air, and if so, did you replace the engine harness or repin the factory and add the mass air harness?

Car has been converted with correct harness and computer.I found the fuel pump issue, orignal owner had it jumped out??....I still can't pull codes.I hope im not useing the wrong wire,I know the one for the hood light and Im not useing thst one.

I had the car running fine for 2 days after rubuild. The car will start first thing, then after a short trip 10/15 mins it wont start?fuel pump running and it has spark.

I had this problem with my conversion. Is your car a stick? If so, did you get a a9p and a harness out of an automatic? With mine, I put an a9p and auto harness in an 88 stick car. A signal return on the o2 harness under the maf is different between the 2. I had to move the wire that loops right around 1 hole over. Hard to describe, but when you see it, you'll know what I mean.
