how did everyone wire there electric fuel pump on carb setup?

I wired mine with a direct feed from the battery to a remote fusebox, then to a relay, then to the pump. You can energize the relay either with a toggle switch or ignition key. Here's the type of relay you need: Just an example, you can probably find a cheaper one.

I reused all the original wiring and jumped the computer wiring and added a relay (at the computer location) to turn it on and off with a switch instead of it running as soon as you turn the key on. I wanted to retain the rollover switch in the back just in case, plus all the wiring was already run to the pump from the factory.

Stole power from ignition so when key turns on so does pump.

I did what most of them did, but I hooked up a Holley oil pressure sensor. It will not turn on the fuel pump until it has oil pressure.
