i put a tailshaft seal im my 5.0l 5spd because it was leaking its still leaking theres no play in the output shaft.but im leaking still i did all my reasearch i pryed the old seal out and used a big socket to reinstall the seal.reinstalled the driveshaft and drove it home it smoked off the exhaust but i thought it was just the greasy hand prints from the job on the exhaust. but it still smokes off the exhaust not nearly as bad its like 1/4 of the first day.im going to check the fluid level today i dont think its overfilled because very little came out of the tailshaft when i pulled the seal. any suggestions?
