Trying to swap fuel pumps in my 01 and it kicked my check fuel cap light on and it also turned my service engine soon light on. Any tips on swapping fuel pumps this kicked my ass on my last attempt.

The low tech way to reset the "check engine" light is to disconnect the battery.
Most autoparts stores will re-set the DTC codes for free. Also read the codes as well. Would be best to read and record the DTC codes before erasing (just in case).
