I would like to disable my trunk-opening button in my '95 GT vert. I never use it to open the trunk, and I sometimes lock my laptop in there when I run into a store or something rather than leave it where someone can see it.
Is there a plug I can disconnect or a fuse I can pull? I don't want to cut any wires if it can be avoided.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Glen

should be a wire with clip on back of button. Haven't looked but normally they don't have perminite connections.

Theres a pigtail on the back of it. You can just pull it off and it will disable the button. If you really want you, you can just pull the button off completely. That way they can't just hook it back up and continue rummaging.

Thanks!! That was simple. That link helped a lot so I could tell what the back of the button looked like, you can't really see it by looking in the glove compartment.
