How Do I Disconnect This?

This is the wire connected to the switch for the glove box light. It looks like a fusible link and I don't want to cut the wire. Anyone k ow how to disconnect it?

Thats not stock lol. Is there a connector on the backside of the light? Thats how it is suppose to be.

Try this: push on the opposite ends of the plastic shell and twist....
