Need to volume test the fuel pump on my 92 GT. I need to make the fuel pump run while the car isn't running. I haven't dealt with the electrical system yet, so I'm not sure how to do this.
Has anyone done this?
thanks

See here to jump the fuel pump circuit so it primes indefinitely.

Just in case the link doesn't work...

To trick the fuel pump into running, find the ECC test connector and jump the connector in the lower RH corner
to ground.

The pump only runs for about 3-5 seconds during the prime-out, which is not enough time to do a volume test.

yeah. i do that every time i start him to make sure the pump sounds happy. doesn't stay running near long enough for a volume test.
