lol that aint gonna work. on the newer stangs, the front springs slid in there compared to these foxes. save yourself the trouble and heres what u really have to do. i got eibach springs and after watching horsepower tv i also thought that they would just slide right in there. HELL NO!! it took me a whole thanksgiving vacataion to figure out how to do it. heres what i did.
go to a parts store and rent a spring compressor. go to a home depot or w/e u got around u and by about 30' worth of thick copper wire. there are different types so make sure u get the one thats strong but u could bend pretty easily. if u dont have an air compressor i suggest u not even do this cause its not worth compressing the spring with a wrench. it would take about an our. put the spring compressor in the spring. compress it only untill u have enough room to where u can wrap that copper wire around the spring. once u looped the wire around the spring, go to a vice and stick the two ends of the wire in it and tighten the vice. then spin the spring until the wire gets tight enough to where u no u the spring wont expand once u take the spring compressor off. repeat this at least two more times. once u have the spring wrapped up enough, go back to your compressor and loosen the spring compressor up. it should fall right out. now u can put the spring back in your car.
once its in the car, jack up the lower control arm to where the spring is further compressed. with wire cutters, cut each wire in the middle and take the wire out if u can. if no then wait till u lower the control arm to take the wire out. reapeat this for the other side.
trust me, unless u cut 2 coils off your spring, i dont know another way to put these things on.
