How do I get this trim piece off?

I need to take off the trim pieces to the left and right of the cowl panel at the bottom of the windshield to paint them. Does anyone know how to do this?

They have some little clips, with ease they should pop off, may take some convincing but they jsut clip on

yeah hes right, just lay a towel down on top of the cowl and then pry on it straight up. Some are loose enough you can do it with your fingers.

do not pry on the cowl you will dent it! just pull up on the moulding and they will pop off.

If you dent the cowl your really doing something wrong. The place where you will be prying is right near a bend (strong point) on the backside of the cowl. Youd have to be very wreckless to dent the cowl.
