I have my aod out for a torque converter swap. How do I get that seal out, the one that seals the torque converter? I have a new seal and I know this one is just pressed in but mannit looks like a biach to get out.
I just watched a video where a guy drove a large screw into the seal and as he turned the screw in, it bottomed out behind the seal and popped it out. It looks like that might work.
Take the front pump off...once off, the pump is only held together with bolts. Once you seperate the two sections, that seal can be driven out from behind just like knocking it out of a timing chain cover.
