I just talked to Ed C and he recommended I set my TP voltage to .985. He was a little short of time so he didn't have time to tell me how to do this but said it was fairly easy. Can someone run me through this procedure real quick? Thanks.

While ur car's ignition is set to "on" but the car is not running, you tap the positive cable from your voltmeter to the red wire and the negative cable of your voltmeter to a ground in the car. The red wire comes out of the tps sensor. Then you adjust your throttle body screw until you get the voltage you want.
TRY THIS....
CRACK THE 2 SCREWS LOOSE ON THE TPS, THEY CAN BE A PAIN, I BROKE ONE....ONCE YOU KNOW YOU CAN LOOSEN THEM....POKE THRU THE WIRE CASING ON THE TPS WIRES AS BELOW.
RED/GREY.......WILL BE POSITIVE ON YOUR VOLTMETER
GRAY/WHITE...WILL BE NEGATIVE " "
SET YOUR VOLTMETER TO 20DCV, GO TURN THE KEY ON...CHECK YOUR METER...IF ITS NOT READING WHAT ED STATES, TURN THE TPS SENSOR " SLOWLY" SEE IF YOU CAN OBTAIN THAT NUMBER....IF IT WONT GO TO THE HIGHER OR LOWER SETTING YOU NEED, REMOVE THE TPS, REAM THE SCREW HOLES OUT WITH A FILE...RE-ASSY AND TRY AGAIN...YOU SHOULD GET IT...ONCE THATS SET, RUN THE THROTTLE TO WIDE OPEN...WHATYA GET??? YOU WANT TO HIT DAMN NEAR 5.0 VOLTS AT WOT....IF ALLS COOL...YOUR DONE...
I GOT LIKE .996 AND 4.65 AT WOT....ITS PRETTY TIT..JUST MOVE IT SLOWLY...SNUG THE SCREWS AND RECHECK....

i slotted my TPS sensor as well to help with the idle, and then adjusted the IAB screw on the TB. This seemed to help greatly with my idle as the normal way of adjusting was opening the butterfly on the TB and allowing extra air in, air that was regulated by the IAC valve. I can't remember who suggested this first, VIB or someone anyhow it seems to help

Hog out the copper inserts with a small drill bit. This way you can move the sensor back and forth with the screws loose. Follow RIO's instructions on setting it up with a voltmeter. Find the desired voltage and tighten the bolts. I went to Lowe's and bought new 8MM screws. Like RIO I broke one but they sucked anyway. My car had a rock steay 875rpm idle with the TPS set on .94v.
